1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using citypal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use citypal.

These Terms apply to all users, whether you're on a free trial or a paid subscriber.

2. What citypal Is (And Isn't)

Important: Always follow local laws, respect private property, and prioritize your personal safety while using citypal.

3. Your Account

Account Responsibilities

• •You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• •You're responsible for keeping your account secure
• •You must be at least 13 years old to use citypal
• •One account per person (no sharing accounts)

Account Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Refund Policy

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable, but we're reasonable. If you have an issue within the first 7 days, email us at support@citypal.app and we'll work it out.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• 🚫Use citypal for any illegal purpose
• 🚫Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• 🚫Scrape, crawl, or collect data without permission
• 🚫Upload malicious code, viruses, or spam
• 🚫Abuse our support team or other users

6. Your Content & Data

What You Own

You own your conversation data and preferences. By using citypal, you grant us permission to:

• • Store and process your data to provide the Service
• • Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve citypal
• • Train and improve our AI models (personal data is never shared publicly)

What We Own

citypal's technology, design, branding, and AI models are our intellectual property. You can't copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive for reliable service, but citypal is provided "as is." We don't guarantee:

• • Uninterrupted access (maintenance happens)
• • Error-free operation (bugs exist, we fix them fast)
• • 100% accurate information (estimates may vary)
• • Specific features will always be available

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• • citypal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
• • We're not responsible for third-party services (OpenAI, payment processors)
• • Information provided is approximate—we're not liable for errors

Translation: citypal is a guide tool. You're responsible for your own safety and decisions while traveling.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you have an issue, please contact us at support@citypal.app before taking legal action. We'll work with you in good faith.

Arbitration

If we can't resolve a dispute informally, you agree to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date and notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
